The name of the game is views! Honestly, that is only half right. It’s really about how active your viewers are. However, you need to find those active viewers by getting more views! There are tons of channels out there that have zero views. That’s crazy, because the person that made the video, didn’t even watch their own video! Crazy! So, the name of the game, I guess, is first to get those views. This post is going to be a little different, I want to talk about steps you can take on your part (the technical side) and then the second step, where how to encourage viewer action, which in turn shoots you into the YouTube Algorithm.

First Step In Getting Increase Youtube Views!

YouTube is the second-largest search engine in the world, and with over 2 billion monthly active users, it’s a great platform to increase the visibility of your brand or business. However, with so much content being uploaded every day, it can be challenging to get your videos noticed. Here are some tips to help increase your YouTube views:

  1. Optimize your video’s title, description, and tags: Make sure your video’s title is attention-grabbing and includes keywords that people might use to search for your content. Your video’s description should be clear and informative, and should include any relevant links or calls to action. Use tags to help your video show up in search results for relevant keywords. This sounds difficult, but there are two companies that can help you with just about everything YouTube. Check out our article on Tubebuddy vs. VidIQ. They are both great companies that the best channels of  YouTube use.

  2. Create engaging content: People come to YouTube to be entertained or educated, so make sure your content is engaging and adds value to your viewers. This could be in the form of a tutorial, a funny video, or a review of a product or service.

  3. Use YouTube Cards, End Screens and Annotations: YouTube Cards are interactive elements that allow you to promote other videos, playlists, and channels within your video. End Screens allow you to promote your other videos, playlists, and channels at the end of your video. Annotations are pop-up text or links that appear on your video. These can be used to encourage viewers to subscribe, like, or comment on your video.

  4. Collaborate with other YouTubers: Collaborating with other YouTubers can help increase your visibility and reach a new audience. You can collaborate on a video, cross-promote each other’s channels, or participate in a YouTube community or challenge.

  5. Promote your videos on social media: Share your videos on your own social media accounts and encourage your friends and followers to share them as well. You can also use paid social media advertising to reach a larger audience.

  6. Use YouTube’s Analytics: YouTube’s Analytics tool can help you understand how your videos are performing, who your audience is, and what kind of content they engage with most. Use this information to improve your video strategy and create content that resonates with your audience.

  7. Interact with your audience: Respond to comments on your videos, and engage with your audience on social media. This helps to build a community around your channel, which can lead to more views and engagement.

  8. Create playlists: Organize your videos into playlists so viewers can easily find and watch related content. This can help keep viewers engaged and on your channel for longer periods of time.

  9. Optimize your video for SEO: Optimizing your video for SEO can help it rank higher in YouTube and Google search results. This includes using relevant keywords in your video’s title, description, tags, and captions. Again for all of these things, it may seem difficult but check out Tubebuddy or VidIQ

  10. Be consistent: Consistency is key when it comes to building a successful YouTube channel. Try to upload videos regularly, and stick to a schedule that works for you and your audience.

So, let me give you a conclusion on this first part, increasing your YouTube views takes time and effort, but by following these tips and creating engaging content, you can build a loyal audience and grow your channel. Remember to be patient and stay consistent, and you’ll be well on your way to increasing your YouTube views.

Let’s narrow it down a little more

YouTube is a powerful platform that can help businesses and individuals increase their online visibility and reach a wider audience. However, with over 2 billion monthly active users, it can be difficult to stand out and increase traffic to your channel. Here are some tips to help you boost your YouTube traffic:

  1. Optimize your channel: Make sure your channel has a clear and catchy name, a professional profile picture, and a well-written bio. This will help potential viewers quickly understand what your channel is about and why they should subscribe.

  2. Create high-quality content: The most important factor in increasing traffic to your YouTube channel is creating high-quality content that viewers will want to watch. This can include videos on a variety of topics, such as how-to tutorials, product reviews, and behind-the-scenes footage.

  3. Use keywords in your titles and descriptions: Use keywords in your video titles and descriptions to help viewers find your content more easily. This will also help your videos rank higher in YouTube search results.

  4. Promote your videos on social media: Share your videos on your social media accounts to drive more traffic to your YouTube channel. You can also use paid social media advertising to reach a wider audience.

  5. Collaborate with other YouTubers: Collaborating with other YouTubers in your niche can help you reach a new audience and increase your visibility on the platform.

  6. Engage with your audience: Respond to comments and messages, and encourage your viewers to leave comments, like, and share your videos. Building a strong and engaged community will help increase traffic to your channel.

  7. Optimize your video for SEO: Use proper tags, descriptions, and titles that include relevant keywords. Also, make sure your video is easy to find by including a link to it on your website and other online platforms.

In Conclusion

By following these tips, you can increase traffic to your YouTube channel and reach a wider audience. Remember to be consistent and patient, as it takes time to build a strong following on the platform.
