There are many reasons why we visit Las Vegas. It doesn’t matter if you’re there to party, attend a convention, have a family trip, see David Copperfield, go to the club, or attempt to hit a jackpot. It’s Vegas baby, go and have some fun! A lot of the times, if you have been there a few times or just want a day to chill many people would take a day trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend taking some time and going to the Grand Canyon.

In order to make the trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon happen, you have plan to go. As a tourist, it may seem a little worrisome since you’re not from the area. Believe me, there is nothing to worry about.

Visit The Grand Canyon

As you may already know, the Grand Canyon is an almost a five our drive from Las Vegas. Trust me, it’s worth it and it will leave you with memories that will last a life time. Over the years, man has really improved on this natural wonder of the world. There are helicopter rides, glass bridges you can walk out on, hiking trails, and much more.

Here are the 6 best ways to travel from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon:

1. TAKE A TOUR BUS TO THE GRAND CANYON

The first two are probably the two most common ways to get from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. I think the best option is to take a tour bus from Las Vegas and let the company worry about the driving, traffic, and making good time. As a passenger, you can sit back, relax, meet some new people, or have a conversation with the people you know. It’s a great first step in conserving your energy to explore the Grand Canyon once you get there. This may be one of the best way to travel from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.

2. RENT A CAR TO TRAVEL TO THE GRAND CANYON

A common way to take a trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon would be the obvious, rent a car. This would have been my number one on this list, but relaxing on the bus sounded more appealable to me. It shouldn’t be too hard to find a rental car in Las Vegas. There are many rental car companies at the Las Vegas Airport. In fact, you can compare prices of these companies here at Full Speed Travel and book! . It shouldn’t be a problem to rent a car for as little as 24 hours if you want a to experience the Canyon for a day or for as long as you like. This is another one that I feel would be one highlighted as one of the best ways to travel from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.

3. TAKE HELICOPTER RIDE TO THE GRAND CANYON

Getting picked up by a Helicopter is probably the most epic way to go from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. This direct route to the Grand Canyon will save you some time and over 5000 customers agree, this is worth every penny. This is a unique way to see one of the seven wonders of the world from land, air, and water. There are some bonuses on this package like traveling through Joshua Tree Forest, a hot lunch, and pick up and drop off from your Las Vegas Hotel. Yes, even a hotel you book from our Hotel page. This is pretty awesome, you do travel from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, but you will not actually have feet on the ground at the Grand Canyon.

4. TAKE AN AIRPLANE TO THE GRAND CANYON

This is a little different from the helicopter. The experience is totally different. Taking an airplane ride from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyons gives you an insight different than a helicopter. First, you will be picked up from your hotel, have a meet and greet with the pilot and then take flight. This inspirational aerial view will show you the sights such as Lake Mead, Hoover dam, the Colorado river, and the Grand Canyon. This four hour ride will give you a lifetime of memories and a sense of adventure when seeing this breathtaking views.

5. RENT A PARTY BUS TO THE GRAND CANYON

If there is a group of you, whether you met in Vegas or not, this may be an option to take. Party bus rentals are a big business out in Vegas. There are many companies competing for your money, thus accepting a deal to take you to the Grand Canyon is likely. This may be a cheaper route if you negotiate the price and everyone pays into that price. If you can get a bigger group to attend, you may even go for free. I mean, you made the deal, negotiated a fair price, and brought the company money. Regardless, they may be a great way to make new friends, connect with some old ones, or just party on t he way back to Vegas with your own mobile nigh club. Don’t be shy, call around, and make that deal! This would be much more fun, then other ways when traveling from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.

6. A BUS AND TRAIN COMBO

Look, this is the least likely scenario people would take to go from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. I feel I should mention it for those who are limited in funds and have a desire to see the Grand Canyon. However, this will be inconvenient as far as time. First, go to the Greyhound Station and buy a ticket it to Flagstaff Arizona. In Flagstaff, you can take a bus to the Grand Canyon. The way back is similar, obviously just in reverse.
